During the Meet Up, we learned about the First mosque in Kuala Lumpur, from Muslimah Tourist Guide, Mahani at Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad.
Then we immersed ourselves with the vibe of Malaysia Day surrounding the Masjid area (close by to Independence Square) as folks in the country all adorned themselves in Batik and Sarong-wearing clothing, aka not an everyday sight in the country. Watch the recap in our reel 👇
