Are you considering staying in Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai?
Then this hotel located near Dubai International Airport (DXB) might be the one you’re looking for!
Whether you plan to stay just for transit or as your accommodation in Dubai, this is my review of staying in the hotel’s Standard Twin Room on my Solo Trip to Dubai for one night before my flight to Cairo.
Close Proximity to DXB International Airport
As a Muslim Solo Traveler who loves transit hotels, I stayed here for one night on my Dubai Solo Trip before my connecting flight to Cairo, Egypt.
Initially, I booked for its sister Copthorne Airport Hotel (a 3-star hotel) but was offered a free upgrade at no cost to the 4-star Millennium Airport Hotel. So this came as a surprise to me.
Millennium Airport Hotel is 2.4km (4 minutes) away from DXB.

Copthorne Airport Hotel vs. Millennium Airport Hotel
They’re both located just next to each other in Al Garhound, making them hotels located near Dubai International Airport.
Regardless, since the location of both hotels are just next to each other, either you choose Copthorne or Millennium Airport Hotel, it really doesn’t matter if having a location near DXB is your priority.

Standard Twin Room
As I mentioned earlier, I initially booked the 3-star Copthorne Airport Hotel for my one-night stay. But I was upgraded at no extra cost to its sister hotel, the 4-star Millennium Airport Hotel, before my Egypt flight at Terminal 3, Dubai.
Overall, the Dubai Millennium Airport hotel has 341 rooms of all types (Deluxe, Superior, Family Rooms, etc.) for you to book from.
Pros and Cons of Staying in a Standard Twin Room, Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai
Pros – Facilities, Praying, Pool & Shuttle Service
Standard Twin Room is huge for a Muslimah Solo Traveler like me!
A praying mat is available upon request. There’s a Qibla sign as well.
There’s an outdoor swimming pool in the hotel. If I weren’t staying for transit, I’d definitely check out the pool. Bring your modest swimsuits if you’re going here for a more extended stay!
Halal-travel verdict: The outdoor pool is shared between males and females. For Muslimah travelers seeking a holiday stay, the swimming experience here is subjective to one’s comfort level.
There’s a baby bathtub in the room – my first time seeing such a thing! Families with small children may want to consider Millennium Airport Hotel.
Complimentary shuttle services to DXB International Airport (40 minutes intervals) & Deira City Centre are available per the hotel’s schedule, making it a great transit hotel to consider in Dubai.
Cons – Soundproofing & Breakfast
It gets noisy with music from the live band singing in the hotel’s courtyard area until about 10:00 pm.
Personally, I like quiet hotels (if not rooms with good soundproofing), so this bothered me as I wanted enough rest for my onboarding flight to Cairo the next day. But, luckily the music ended at 10:00 pm.
If quiet evenings before 10:00 pm are a high priority during your stay, you may consider choosing this hotel as the room is not soundproofed from the windows.
Breakfast comes at an additional cost (it was around 70 AED).
If you’re a traveler that doesn’t like to worry about what to have for breakfast and go out with a full tummy until lunch, you may want to fork out the extra cost for hotel breakfast.

Final verdict of Millennium Airport Hotel, Dubai
