Salam everyone! Just wanted to share with the ladies who might be planning to visit Selangor, Malaysia, anytime soon, based on my solo trip there last September. It was my first time staying at a hotel alone, so safety was my number one priority, and I believe that’s the case for most of us, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the city. I stayed at Royale Chulan Damansara (make sure you type this correctly, as there’s also Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur nearby), and it was amazing, safety-wise & service. I hope this recommendation helps, especially if it’s your first time traveling to Selangor, Malaysia!

Transit & night safety

The main point I want to highlight is that it’s directly connected to MRT Surian through Level 2—no walking on pavements and no need to pay for e-hailing services! Plus, it’s also within walking distance to Ikea.
