Visiting Bangladesh — suggestions?

MSTer: Salaam. Consider Sylet which had tea gardens, it’s north from Dhaka though. Cox Bazaar is also nice with the coastal beaches. Dhaka is a busy capital. There will be yummy food in BD, variety, which includes fish and shellfish.

MSTer: I will be in Dhaka. Do you know any good restaurant? Or can you say me a must try food? Thanks a lot

MSTer: salaam! I’m Bengali myself so I might be biased, ! A few yummy foods to try as a suggestion…. Biryani - Dhaka and Bangladesh style biryani flavour profile is different from others. Kebab - there are many different variations…my personal preference is for chicken but that’s me Fish - not sure if you like fish but “eelesh” is a favourite among bengalis. It’s a white fish, which can be fried or cooked, eaten with rice, and very popular. Prawns! Cooked on their own or different greens. There are variations of spinach type vegetables eaten, all eaten with rice, really yummy. Breads - paratha flat bread yummy yum

MSTer: cox bazaar area is known for seafood dishes as well. Various preparations, including some with coconut milk or various spices. Really yummy yum .

MSTer: wide variety of vegetarian food dishes preparations too.

MST team: Did you manage to go to Bangladesh İrem Yıldırım? I thought of you when I heard about the protests happening there. Hope all is well and you're protected if you do end up going!

MSTer: sadly, i couldn't go because of the news as you read...

MST team: better to be safe than sorry alhamdullilah Hopefully u managed to find an alternative destination?

MSTer: yeah, I went Balkan countries but still I want to visit Bangladesh. It was very unlucky situation
