Sri Lanka solo as a hijabi?
The question
Asalam u alaykum lovely ladies! I’m planning on going on a solo trip to Sri Lanka. I will be wearing the hijab inshaa Allah. I was wondering if it’s safe considering the islamophobia? Has anyone went there solo with a hijab? How was it? Picture is for attention

MSTer: Hi! I am hijabi and I went to sri lanka for 3 days only. I didn’t feel uncomfortable maybe because I stayed in colombo and took day trips outside the city. But you can’t enter temple with hijab as per their beliefs. Other than that, it looks fine.

MSTer: not at all. Most muslim in there wearing hijab also. I felt more comfortable wearing hijab in Sri lanka compared to western country.
