has anyone travelled to Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. Any recs where to stay?
The question
I was planning to stay in San Pedro La laguna as I researched it is one of the more populated towns and accessible to lots of cafes and restaurants, but heard it is now quite populated with Israeli tourists, so unsure how safe I would feel as I a wear hijab and am visibly muslim.

Tbh I went to Poland and my baggage was near the baggage collection counter from a flight that arrived from tel aviv - was no issue even though I was a bit apprehensive. They minded their own business.
