Salam, I’m Farihah, the founder of Muslim Solo Travel. Throughout the years, I’ve encountered countless Muslimahs struggling to make their solo travel dream come true.
As a global communicator (I’ve done remote work before it was a thing and handled crosscultural communication daily from New Zealand all the way to Brazil 10 years ago!) and world traveler who prefers to travel independently, I also understand the various nuanced worldviews by Muslimahs around the world.
This gap inspired me to create Muslim Solo Travel, the home brand for #MuslimahSoloTravelers and now, this flagship course!

No, this is for all Muslimahs. Regardless of your background, cultural upbringing, age or mother tongue.
Is this course only for long-term travelers?
Absolutely not! While the principles apply to long-term travel, the strategies for safe planning, packing light, and overcoming dining-alone anxiety are equally valuable for weekend trips, 1-week vacations, or gap year planning.
I am genuinely afraid of traveling alone, especially as a Muslimah and first-timer. Will this course help my anxiety?
Yes, this is a core focus. Module 1 is dedicated to the Mindset and Foundation, and Module 5 provides practical, actionable safety measures by your design. We focus on managing risk, not eliminating all risk.
Does the course cover specific destinations?
While there are examples of some destinations to illustrate, the course focuses on teaching you the universal system for planning any destination. While we use examples from various global regions, the goal is to empower you to confidently research and plan your dream spot, wherever that may be
